Insurance & coverage
Will my insurance pay for my dentures?
Many insurance plans cover dentures for seniors, and some cover the full cost. Every plan is different, so the quickest way to know is to give us a call — our team will check your coverage for you before any treatment begins.
Call to Check Your InsuranceWhat should I have ready when I call?
Your insurance card is all you need. We'll ask for the name on the plan, your date of birth and your member ID, then we'll contact your plan and explain what's covered in plain language.
Call to Check Your InsuranceDoes Medicare cover dentures?
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) generally does not cover dentures. Many seniors have other coverage that does include dental benefits, so call us with your insurance card and we'll find out exactly what yours covers.
Call to Check Your InsuranceWhat if my insurance doesn't cover everything?
We'll explain any remaining cost before treatment starts, so there are no surprises. Flexible monthly payments, including 0% financing for those who qualify, are available.
Call to Check Your InsuranceCan my son or daughter call for me?
Yes. Family members and caregivers are welcome to call and help with the insurance check and scheduling — just have the patient's insurance card handy.

How long does it take to get dentures?
Most patients receive their custom dentures within a few weeks of their first visit. If teeth need to be removed first, we allow time for your gums to heal. Dr. Forman will give you a personal timeline at your first appointment.
What's the difference between full and partial dentures?
Full dentures replace all of the teeth in your upper or lower jaw. Partial dentures fill in the spaces between your remaining natural teeth and help keep those teeth from shifting.
Will my dentures look natural?
Yes. Your dentures are custom-made from impressions of your mouth. We choose the tooth shade, shape and gum color to suit your face, and you'll see a try-in before your final dentures are made.
Will it take time to get used to my dentures?
A short adjustment period is normal. Speaking and eating feel more natural within a few weeks, and we schedule follow-up visits to smooth out any sore spots and fine-tune the fit.
Can I eat normally with dentures?
Most people return to a wide variety of foods. Start with softer foods cut into small pieces, then work up to your favorites. Implant-supported dentures offer the strongest bite if you want extra stability.
How long do dentures last?
With good daily care, dentures last for years. Your mouth naturally changes over time, so we check the fit at your regular visits and can reline or adjust your dentures to keep them comfortable.
